A county that runs on law firms and title work
Westchester has a large community of real estate attorneys, title agencies, and estate planning practices, centered on White Plains. Much of my Westchester work is for those offices: handling a signer who cannot come in, covering a split signing, or taking a loan package to a borrower's home on a tight deadline.
What Westchester clients call for most
- Loan signings for title agencies and lenders, including CEMA and high-balance refinance packages
- Estate document signings at home or in care facilities, on the drafting attorney's instructions
- Corporate and commercial documents for offices along the I-287 corridor
- Apostilles for clients relocating, marrying, or doing business abroad
County offices
The Westchester County Clerk is in White Plains, the county seat. Land records for the county are filed there.
For Westchester firms
If your office needs a reliable signing agent on call, see the page for title companies and law firms. I can send credentials, E&O confirmation, and a W-9 the same day you ask.

Westchester County notary questions
Do you cover northern Westchester?
Yes. Peekskill, Yorktown, Mount Kisco, and Ossining are the closest parts of the county to home base and the easiest to schedule quickly.
Can you handle a CEMA package?
Yes. CEMA packages carry more documents than a standard refinance and take longer at the table. They are quoted rather than billed at the base signing rate.
Is there a travel fee to Westchester County?
Travel is $25 to $50 depending on distance and is quoted before the appointment is confirmed.
